Main Characters
Jowlani Sterwick
He is one of the central figures of this story, whose journey forms a key part of the Amethyst Adventures.
Born in Faucon-Bas, a small village in the country of Netralia, lying next to the border to the country of Altgrön.
His parents passed away at young age, in an incident at the border.
Currently taken care of by his adopted Aunt Serena, who is his neighbour.
Attends the University of Magic, hoping to one day become a part of the Magician’s Faction of Netralia.
His best friends are:
Zayden Blankermann, who sits next to him in class
Laura, who is in the exam year at University and is both his and Zayden’s senior.
Zayden Blankermann
Zayden is one of the central characters of this story, closely connected to Jowlani.
Born in the country of Altgrön, where his parents lead the governing political party.
He was sent to Netralia for his studies at the University of Magic, where he befriended Jowlani.
Zayden’s hope is that Altgrön becomes a more progressive country in it’s values.
The friendship with Jowlani evolves as time goes by.
In The Amethyst Adventures, you will learn in which ways this develops, and what the story holds for Zayden’s future.
Caelira Sterrelyn
Caelira Sterrelyn is a major political figure.
She is the Sovereign of Caelhem, the capital of Netralia.
She also is the leader of Netralia’s national government as of late, ousting the former role of Prime Minister.
Her decisions and influence have a significant impact on the course of The Amethyst Adventures.
Lord Sage Nelson
Sage Nelson is the leader of a big city in Netralia, Zomerhoven.
He becomes a more important figure later on in the story, increasingly involved around Jowlani, Zayden and Caelira.
As chapters go by, we learn more of his personality, his actions and his motives.
Aunt Serena
Aunt Serena is Jowlani’s neighbour.
After the incident with his parents, she started to take care of Jowlani.
Becoming one of the most important personal connections, she helps to shape his journey.
Known as the chatterbox of town, she always has advice to give, or an unwanted story to tell.
