The time for Caelira Sterrelyn’s reign to end has come. Remyra has devised a plan. A plan in which they will force Caelira out of power for good.

Remyra highlights the plans to our close allies.
“Thank you for gathering this early in the morning. It’s time for us to overthrow whatever’s left of this constructed government. Our people deserve solid and determined leadership. A government that is appoint based on the will of the people. Not one that decides to stay in power for as long as it desires.

With my sister gone, we are able to bring the power back to our people.
After this is all settled, I will not return to power. Instead, if you will allow me, I would like to join your cause in the war against Altgrön.

Jowlani, Zayden, and friends. We will march through the tunnels towards the Shire, heading straight for Caelira’s chambers. I doubt that we will not be stopped. Or at least them trying to stop us.
So we will split up in teams. The first will consist of Serena, Adnap and Kelly. They will be the first decoy and retreat at the first sighting of the enemy. The second team will consist of Luke, Zayden and myself. We can take out the first line of enemies if needed.”

Zayden frowns at the team allocations and shakes his head, waving towards Remyra. “That means that Jowlani is all on his own from the get go. How will he get to Caelira, and how will he stay alive on his own?”

Remyra tries to calm Zayden immediately. “Do not worry about that. I’ve thought about this. Come in, please!”
The owner of the tavern unlocks the door and a familiar face steps in. It’s Lord Nelson.

“Well, I didn’t expect to see you here!” says Kelly. “Did you finally bother to show up now that things are picking up the pace?”

Lord Sage Nelson steps inside, as the door is locked behind him again.
Â
He steps towards Zayden and Jowlani first. “My apologies for the things that went down in Zomerhoven. We were well aware of Caelira’s plans in the long term for this nation. We had to let it fall under a false flag operation. It took months of planning to make it seem like a part of our citizens were actually from Altgrön and to speak like them. Only the captain you saw originally comes from that country.

I will always aid the cause of keeping our beautiful Netralia safe, even if it means making sacrifices. No people were harmed in this operation, I assure you.

Remyra has been on the background of this massive plan to overthrow the Sovereign, and bring the power back to where it should be. The citizens of this country in a democracy where the majority decides the course. And of course, where power changes as elections come by.

When this is over, you two will be installed as the leaders of our army. To defend this nation, and to lead it to better days. Hopefully, either at peace with Altgrön, or perhaps as an unified nation under one banner. For such thing to happen, we need support of the people. That cannot happen with a naive and power hungry woman at the top of the chain of command.

Therefore, I will be the missing chess piece you need in your strategy. You two and myself are going to let us get captured. Caelira wants nothing more than to get rid of us personally to ensure her position.

Though Remyra has informed me that we will be saved on time. Are you two ready to go forward with this? We’ll go over the details again, before you call it.”
The plans are laid out again by Remyra, highlighting the tasks of each team in this major plot. A scheme that will shake the foundation of the nation. Executed to perfection, tomorrow is a day that will shine bright over the landscapes of Netralia.

“… is that all clear for everyone? Jowlani.. Zayden.. with everything explained. Are you ready to become the true leaders in this brewing war? What is your answer?”

Jowlani and Zayden look towards eachother. They know they were destined to do this. There’s no going back ever since they got sucked into this war.

They grab each other’s hands and tell Remyra:
“Absolutely! It’s time to get rid of the corrupt leadership. It’s time to take over and let this country heal itself. For better times, for better leadership, and for happy people all across our lands. We have to stop Caelira once and for all!”

The Allies have agreed. They make their way to the start of the tunnels. The task at hand is clear. At the first intersection, they split up and go their own way. Serena, Adnap and Kelly veer off to the left. Heading in at around a 10 minute walk, the enemies are in sight.

Kelly leads down the line. “Well, hello there, fancy gentlemen. Is there anything we can help with? I heard some intruders were up to no good.”
Â
This was definitely not the first strategy discussed, but Kelly makes it work. She steps very close to one of the guards. “Let’s say we can help with other things. Motivational Topics.” Â
She is almost face to face with the guard. She gets close to his ears and whispers:
“You look so… stoned.”

She steps back and yells to Adnap and Serena:
“Cover your ears well! Three, two, one…Corpus Rigidum!”
Â
Three guards are turned into stone and fall down. Kelly steps over them and says:
“Such a shame, I would’ve let them stay with me for a night. Well, that settled, we can close this tunnel off. Ruina Saxorum!”

Behind the guards, rocks fall from the top of the tunnel and seal this part of the tunnel system off.
Time for them to head back and provide even more backup, if necessary.
The team of Luke, Zayden and Remyra goes to the right hand tunnel in the meantime. Caelira expected them to go this way according to the inside sources.

That is exactly what happens. The tunnel widens at around 20 soldiers are waiting.

Remyra looks to Luke and Zayden. “Ready to draw blood? Stay safe gents, let’s FIGHT!”
Â
The three go into a triangle formation so that the optimal defence strategy is applied. This creates a great line of sight against the enemy strikes. A first wave of 4 soldiers attack.
Â
Remyra is being struck at first. With a great defensive dodge manoeuvre, he moves past the guards. A staggering blade strike happens. Two soldiers fall down with fatal injuries to the stomach area.
Â
Luke and Zayden have to deal with their opponent now. They shift into a two-man formation to line up against the enemy. Luke performs a blow to the ground with his hammer. The earth starts to crack up beneath him, all the way up to the enemy. A rock formation blasts from under the ground that’s below the guards.

They get instantly speared into the ceiling of the tunnel, and when the rock retreats their corpses splat onto the ground.

Zayden can just stare in awe of the amazing skills that both Remyra and Luke already possess.
Â
“Anyone else fancy a challenge?” Luke yells onto the Sovereign’s Guards.
Â
Many of them shriek back and even retreat. Though one of them stands firm. A younger guard steps forward.
“I am Kelvin, part of the youth squadron of the Sovereign’s Guards. I will take you on. I fear nothing and owe my life to the Sovereign. I will fight you!”
Â
Zayden steps in to face his match. “Very well. I will go easy on you. Do not harm yourself if not necessary. I trust your conviction but ours is strong too. Let’s duel!”
Â
A duel starts to happen between Zayden and Kelvin. Both trying to strike but guarding and dodging those strikes equally good. Though Zayden can tell Kelvin is the one getting exhausted.

Kelvin tries to in for a strike to the chest. “Hyaaaaahhh!”
He misses as the sword strikes Zayden’s shield. The sound is very dull, like a clonk.

With an open stance like that, Zayden sidesteps, raises his sword and strikes Kelvin’s shield. By sheer force suffered, he drops his shield and sword all together.
Zayden puts his sword on Kelvin’s chest, while Luke takes away the shield and sword.

“That’s unfortunate for you Kelvin. Please surrender now.”
Â
Though Kelvin wants to hear nothing of the sort actually. “I will always hate you for this. Slice my throat if you have to, but I will not give up or surrender. I will always fight and die for the Sovereign.”
Â
Zayden listens and hears something off, like a very faint echo or distortion can be heard in Kelvin’s voice.
Â
He looks into his eyes and sees that a weird shade is surrounding the iris’ of both eyes.
Â
“Remyra, Luke, this young man seems to be enchanted by something. He’s harmless. Is there anything we can do?”
Â
Remyra nods that he’s got no idea what to do. But Luke has a faint idea.
“I’ve got a smell spellbook handed to me by Kelly earlier. Let me see if I’ve got something…”
Â
He looks through the guide and the he sees something he can use.
“Not sure if it will work, but here we go.. nebulam dispelle!”
Kelvin starts to shake his head in confusion. Zayden takes the sword away to make him feel safe. The eyes clear back out into a regular set of green eyes.
“Where am I? What happened to me? Who are you guys?”

Remyra kneels down and talks to him. “Hello young man, who are you? I am Remyra, this is Luke and this is Zayden. We are here to help you. And to get rid of the Sovereign that has put you under her spell, hasn’t she? Go with us, and you’ll be free.”
Â
Kelvin then starts to tremble in fear. “She put a spell on me. I didn’t want to cooperate with her, nor did I want to be in love with her. She didn’t like that, so I… turned into this. I am so sorry. I’m not a guard whatsoever. Please let me stay once this is over. I’ll do anything for you since you saved me from this curse.”

Zayden steps in: “You’re young and do not need to be involved on the frontlines. Head back through this tunnel. Two nice ladies and a panda bear will be there. They will get your wounds treated, and make sure you get food and water.”

Kelvin stands up, shakes our allies hands and heads back through the tunnel. As they wait for a bit, they can already hear Serena.

“We got the young fellow! Taking care of him stat! Good luck gentlemen, and keep my lovely Jowlani safe!”
Â
Luke smashes into the grounds again with his hammer to also seal the right part of the tunnels off.
Â
Having alarmed the guards and putting them on high alert, Jowlani and Lord Nelson will be captured with certainty.
Â
For now, all is going according to the plans that Remyra laid out.
